The Littleton Historical Museum resides on 14 acres near Ketring Lake, suggestive of life in the 1860s, much like a living history museum. As you step through the gates, you literally feel like you have stepped back in time to the days when Littleton real estate was just beginning to appreciate and farming was the mainstay of the region. Here, you can actually experience the life of the earlier settlers and enjoy many artifacts and exhibits that depict and interpret the history of the area. The museum attracts more than 100,000 visitors per year and is the only Colorado museum that is a Smithsonian Affiliate.
